What is a consignor portion?
A consignor portion is the amount a consignor receives when their item sells. You'll also hear it called a consignor split, consignor cut, or consignor share. All of these refer to the same thing: how the proceeds of a sale are divided between the store and the person who brought the item in. It's the other side of the store portion — together they always add up to 100% of the final sale price.
See the full entry on the consignor split page for a full explanation of terms, structure, and examples.
