What is a store portion?
A store portion is the percentage of a sale price a consignment store keeps as its share when a consignor's item sells. You'll also hear it called the store's cut, store commission, or store split. It's the other side of the consignor portion — together they always add up to 100% of the final sale price.
See the consignor split entry for a full explanation of terms, structure, and examples.
